Corbett`s Travels

The World Needs Re-exploring

About Ross

‘Projects, hopes and resolutions jostle in my brain clamouring for attention. I cannot wander from day to day. I have to plan.’

Q. Where do you call home?

I’m originally from a small English town called Shrewsbury in the west midlands but after spending the last few years living in sunny Australia I’m now back in the UK living in not so sunny Nottingham.

Q. Mountain/desert/ocean/jungle….

Which are you?

Well I have yet to experience a jungle but out of the other three I would say the Mountains. There is something very spiritual about them, looking up at them makes you realise just how small we are.

Q. What was your first great travel experience?

Playing in some rocks on a beach in Malta when I was very young only to realise I was covered head to toe in oil from a leak out at sea. Maybe that’s not a great experience but it was certainly my first.

Q. What has been your favorite journey?

Without doubt travelling from Darwin to Adelaide through the Outback. Incredible!

Q. What are your top 3 places worldwide?

Christchurch, New Zealand; Northern Territory, Australia; Pembrokeshire, Wales

Q. Which 3 items do you always pack?

Notebook, camera, torch

Q. Which passport stamp would you most like to have?

Russia

Q. Where or what is your guilty pleasure?

Fast food
